Pure Tree Care appears to be a relatively new company and yet, in reality, we were founded over twenty-five years ago in Scotland, where we traded as Abraxas Tree Care, an award-winning enterprise. When we emigrated to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with its extraordinary abundance of trees and unique climate, we felt drawn, if not compelled, to return to our roots and establish a new tree service business. And so Pure Tree Care was born.
Why did we call ourselves this? Trees are natural and fresh, and of course essential to our lives and survival. What’s more, tree care is often dangerous, challenging work and requires expert arborists who are pure specialists. Unlike many of our competitors, we deal uniquely in tree care and leave landscaping and yard maintenance to others. We love trees and believe our passion shines through in the quality of our service. “Pure” seemed to encapsulate all this.
After our first few months in business, we have been honored to help a number of very special customers. To all of you who have supported our new venture, thank you! Clearly, there is demand for high-quality tree work and we endeavor to continue to deliver this as we establish an enduring presence in this amazing community.
So far we have been kept busy cleaning up storm damage and climbing trees that require dead-wood pruning as well as our specialty – removing (by advanced climbing techniques) high-risk trees that present a danger to nearby property.
We have several tree jobs booked up, and although the summer heat is challenging (particularly to those of us with Scottish heritage!), we look forward to posting and updating our progress here and on https://www.facebook.com/puretreecare
